PRP (or Platelet Rich Plasma) uses the growth factors present in the blood to combat hair loss and stimulate hair regrowth. The cells (platelets) injected release numerous growth factors that act directly on hair follicles, encouraging them to strengthen existing hair and build new ones.

After the session, bruising and redness are possible, but are transitory. Slight edema may also occur.

Blood is drawn as in a conventional blood test, and then placed in a centrifuge to extract your platelet-rich plasma. Your platelets are then drawn into a syringe and injected into the target areas of your scalp, using a special needle.
