To make its services available in the city center, Claris Clinic opened a medical-aesthetics center in 2021 in the heart of Brussels, rue Belliard 141, a stone’s throw from the Schuman traffic circle.
The aim of this new facility is to offer our services locally and to raise awareness of the surgical services offered by our clinic in La Hulpe.

Plastic surgeons
- Dr Charlotte WAXWEILER
Dr. Waxweiler is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She has been a member of the Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery since 2017. His plastic surgery practice has been accompanied by several inter-university diplomas (DIU), notably in Breast Surgery from the University of Paris II, in Hand Surgery from the University of Paris Descartes, and in Microsurgery from the University of Lille.
Thanks to his training with high-performance teams in Brussels and Paris, notably at the Institut Gustave Roussy, Dr. Waxweiler was able to develop his anatomical and technical knowledge of face and neck reconstruction. This specialized training has enabled him to acquire a fine analysis of facial aesthetics, complexity and anatomy. Dr. Waxweiler masters the entire therapeutic arsenal, both surgical and medical, for the treatment of signs of aging and facial beautification.
She performs injections of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, collagen activators and tensor threads, to improve skin quality, fill wrinkles, restore facial volume or correct imperfections. Dr. Waxweiler favors the preservation of natural beauty.
- Dr Alexandru PAUN
Dr Alexandru Paun is a plastic surgeon who graduated from the ”Carol Davila” University of Medicine in Bucharest. He also holds an Interuniversity Diploma in Microsurgery and a Diploma in Surgical Anatomy of Lambs, obtained respectively at Strasbourg University Hospital and Bordeaux University Hospital.
During his specialized training in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, he completed internships at the University Hospitals of Strasbourg, the University Clinics of Bucharest, the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Saint-Pierre in Brussels(CHU Saint-Pierre) and the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg(CHL). Passionate about Aesthetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, Dr Paun undertakes Fellowships at Cronos Med (Bucharest) and Akademikliniken (Stockholm), considered to be world reference centers in this field. Trained by some of Europe’s leading surgeons, he developed a particular interest in aesthetic breast, body and facial surgery.
Dr. Paun currently works in private practice at the Claris Clinic, The Clinic and the DermoMedicalCenter, as well as in university hospital practice at the CHU Saint-Pierre in Brussels. Dr. Paun’s attention to patient needs and his rigorous approach to his work mean that he pays particular attention to patient follow-up.
- Dr Christine WALRAVENS
Dr Christine Walravens is a plastic surgeon who graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2007 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. She trained internationally, notably in Luxembourg and Paris, where she obtained a diploma in microsurgery from the École du Fer à Moulin.
Dr. Walravens has extensive experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a particular focus on breast, facial and body contour surgery. She pays particular attention to patient needs, and to achieving natural results.
Dr Walravens currently works at the Claris Clinic and Clinique Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi in Brussels.

- Dr Pauline OLLERO – Aesthetic Medicine
Doctor Pauline Ollero graduated in surgery from ULB in 2022 and is a member of the Belgian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SBME). Her background combines expertise in hand surgery with a specialization in aesthetic medicine. Like other Claris Clinic specialists, she offers a holistic approach that incorporates the latest medical techniques. According to the WHO definition, she considers health to be a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Her practice focuses on personalized treatments aimed at achieving natural, harmonious results, notably through botulinum toxin and filler injections. Her professional approach combines surgical expertise with careful attention to the specific needs of each patient to ensure their overall well-being.
- Dr Nesma JEBBARI – Aesthetic Medicine
Dr Jebbari is a qualified Aesthetic Physician, graduating from the University of Liège in 2019, then from the prestigious Collège de Médecine Esthétique in Paris in 2023. She is a member of the Belgian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SBME – BVEG). She is trained in a wide range of techniques, including ultrasound, medical lasers, medico-aesthetic injections, tightening threads and peels. Since the start of her career, she has been constantly acquiring new skills through ongoing training, and regularly attends the best international conferences on aesthetic medicine and surgery. - Prof. Bertrand RICHERT – Dermatology
Professor Bertrand RICHERT is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the ULB Faculty of Medicine and Motor Sciences.
He is Head of Dermatology at Brugmann University Hospital, St-Pierre University Hospital and Queen Fabiola Children’s Hospital.
He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is the author of 3 books in English, 3 in French and 26 chapters in reference works. He has given over 150 presentations worldwide.
He was behind the development of courses and masterclasses at theEuropean Academy of Dermatology, of which he is a member representing Belgium.
He plays an active role in teaching oncological skin surgery and interventional cosmetology to ULB and foreign dermatology assistants. He regularly welcomes doctors to his department to complete their training.
- Dr Gunther GIJSEN – Aesthetic Medicine
Dr Gunther Gijsen is a renowned physician specialized in aesthetic medicine, adopting an integrative mind-body approach. He is strongly convinced that beauty is a reflection of both physical and emotional well-being.

- Oriane DE BREUCKER
Nurse specialist
Oriane De Breucker trained as an emergency nurse. She worked for several years in various emergency departments, notably at the Clinique Ste-Elisabeth in Brussels and at the Braine l’Alleud Hospital.
Oriane has been operating room manager at Claris Clinic since 2014 and is also responsible for Claris Clinic’s plastic surgery information consultations.
- Renata CASSIANO
A graduate in aesthetics and dermo-pigmentation in Belgium and Brazil, Renata is in charge of numerous aesthetic treatments and patient reception at the Claris Clinic in Brussels.
