Cellulite
Cellulite is an inflammation of the subcutaneous tissue that gives the skin a wavy appearance, often referred toas “orange peel” skin. It results from various factors, such as heredity, unbalanced diet or water retention. There are several types of cellulite (adipose, fibrous, edematous), requiring precise diagnosis to choose the right treatment. Personalized solutions are proposed according to your expectations and characteristics.

Frequently asked questions
What is cellulite and why does it appear?
Cellulite is characterized by an alteration of the subcutaneous adipose tissue, giving the skin an orange-peel appearance, made up of bumps and hollows. It’s an aesthetic feature that can cause discomfort for some people, especially women, which is why many of them want to get rid of it.
Cellulite is due to genetic or hormonal factors, but can also appear as a result of lifestyle. In this case, cellulite is said to be adipose. If, on the other hand, it appears due to a problem with blood circulation or water retention, it is said to be watery. Finally, there is a stage at which the accumulated fat becomes trapped in hardening subcutaneous collagen fibers. In this case, cellulite is said to be fibrous and becomes quite difficult to treat with natural methods.
What are the best solutions for getting rid of cellulite?
Cellulite can be difficult to eliminate using natural methods. If, despite a healthy diet, regular exercise, creams and multiple massages, you still can’t get rid of your cellulite, an aesthetic medicine solution may be in order. At Claris Clinic, we offer radiofrequency and body sculpting to treat cellulite.
Radiofrequency is one of the most effective methods of treating cellulite. Subcutaneous tissues are heated by radio waves, stimulating collagen, reducing fat and making the skin firmer. Our BodyTite® and Morpheus8® treatments combine radiofrequency with liposuction, and radiofrequency with microneedling to treat deeper areas. The BodyTite® treatment, however, is better suited to larger areas, while Morpheus8® is ideal for smaller but highly visible areas.
B-Tonic body sculpting is also highly effective for firming the skin. Thanks to its electromagnetic vibrations, it stimulates muscles deep down and helps burn fat, thus toning areas affected by cellulite.
Can cellulite be eliminated naturally?
It’s difficult to get rid of cellulite entirely through natural methods. However, it is possible to improve its appearance by adopting a few good habits.
Adopting a healthy diet has a significant impact on the appearance of cellulite. Avoid foods that promote water retention and fat accumulation, and favor foods rich in fiber or antioxidants to eliminate toxins and promote collagen production. Maintaining a good level of hydration also helps to improve skin appearance.
Exercise regularly to burn subcutaneous fat and improve circulation. Massages and manual techniques can also help, especially when accompanied by specific creams.
Overall, a healthier lifestyle is needed to reduce the appearance of cellulite. However, methods are limited, and when cellulite is fibrous or at too advanced a stage, it is very difficult to eliminate with natural methods, which is why aesthetic treatments are sometimes necessary for optimum results.
Is cellulite remodeling painful?
Cellulite remodeling by radiofrequency (Morpheus8®) is not painful. Sensations depend on the patient’s sensitivity and the technology used. It is often a sensation of slight discomfort rather than pain, accompanied by a sensation of (moderate) heat on the skin.
Similarly, remodeling with the B-Tonic body sculpting method stimulates muscles with electromagnetic waves. Sensations are similar to muscle contractions. They can be very surprising at first, but are generally not painful. However, slight muscle fatigue may be felt after the session.
When do you see the first results and how many sessions are required?
Depending on the type of treatment used, the area treated and the patient’s particular characteristics, results may not appear at the same time. With radiofrequency, results appear within four to six weeks of treatment. However, between 3 and 6 sessions are required for optimum results. With body sculpting, results are achieved after an average of 8 sessions (i.e. around three weeks).
How much does a cellulite remodelling treatment cost?
Morpheus8® treatment for cellulite remodeling is priced at €565 per session, and €1,395 for three sessions. BodyTite treatment, on the other hand, costs a minimum of €915 and is only available on quotation, depending on the intensity and extent of the areas to be treated. The estimate is drawn up during the first consultation with an expert. The B-Tonic treatment costs €895 for eight sessions, with a free estimate and information consultation, and an additional session at €125.
